Predator:
In the Predator game, by IndiaGames, you play as the Predator, penetrating a secret military base. Being a fan of the Predator movies, I was expecting (and hoping for) this game to be good. You get to use some of the Predator's weapons - the "Plasma caster", "discs" and "claws".

The claws are the Predator's basic weapon - strictly for close combat (and using switches), while the Plasma caster (gun) auto-aims on nearby guards before firing. The discs do a good job of cutting down multiple guards, should they be standing in-line with each other. Throw in some cloaking and you're a pretty mean guy.

Although the theme for the game is great, the actually gameplay feels a little uncomfortable and sluggish. For such a fearsome, and elite killer, you're definately held back buy the uncomfortable controls. You can't go from running, to climbing a ladder, without releasing the direction keypad and pressing up again. Holding down a left/right direction key for a short period of time, causes you to start running - which is generally convenient, except when you're trying to get a few steps closer to a guard, and end up running past him.

The graphics have a grainy look to them, and it seems almost as if there are faint vertical lines running down the screen, making up the background and the graphic tiles are fairly obvious. Overall nothing we haven't seen before - avoiding mines, jumping over spikes, climbing ladders, etc - with uncomfortable gameplay, and graphics that could be better. I can't say I'd recommend this game to anyone, there are definately better alternatives...
