Storyline:
"The sultan's wives have been kidnapped by the vizier to carry out experiments on abstinence. The sultan's real mad! He no longer knows how to express his desires. Seven female prisoners, and only you can set them free and bring them back to life!"Gameplay:
Based on the original game from 1989 (by the same name), it's your job to rescue the sultan's seven wives by navigating through the dungeon, avoiding spike, pits, snapping metal jaws and fighting off anyone who gets in your way - timing is often essential. This is a great platform/puzzle game, and the controls respond well, giving you full control over your character. You can also return to the beginning of the last level you were on - so you don't have to worry about trying to finish the game in one go!Graphics:
The main character's had a bit of a wardrobe change, and is no longer dressed in plain white. There is also more detail to the levels than in the original game - torches on the wall, ornaments and tables on the floor in the background and even some windows. Despite the changes, the game is still easily identifiable as "Prince of Persia".Sound:
There's not much sound in this game, music plays briefly when you start or finish a level, gates make a noise as they open, and there's a tune that's played when you die. It'd say it's a good combination, with all the jumping/falling and fighting you do, a sound effect for each event would just get annoying.Screenshots:
