I mentioned C2Doom in a previous post. Since then I believe there has been a newer version (1.02) released, which fixes various issues and may provide more support for other WAD files, so go and get it.
I managed to get the Duke Nukem (3D) WAD to work. What we're talking about here is not conversions of the game to N-Gage, they're "doom levels" inspired by the games, with the weapons, maps, textures and monsters from the original games changed to look (and feel) like the original games.
Some other interesting WADs I found are Quake (download) and Counter-Strike.
The general rule for getting these games to work is to install C2Doom, and copy the WAD file to your MMC (the root of your MMC should be fine, and it's safer to only have 1 WAD file on the card at a time). It's generally safer to rename the WAD to "doom2.wad" or "doom1.wad" to get it to load properly.
I've been finding all sorts of interesting WADs for C2Doom, so I'll have to dedicate a whole page to it with screenshots soon (add to my "to do" list).
